I am excited to announce the United Way’s 2024-2025 Combined Campaign for Health and Human Services, an annual opportunity for University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty and staff to come together in support of Lincoln, Lancaster County, and beyond. This year’s theme, "Amplify Your Impact", emphasizes our shared commitment to increasing the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's reach and engagement across the state, amplifying our collective impact through giving.
This campaign is about investing in the health, education, and financial stability of our neighbors. Every dollar directly supports individuals and families, helping them find stability and work toward brighter futures. Your gift, no matter the amount, plays a crucial role in uplifting lives across Nebraska.
I encourage everyone to give as you can and choose a giving option that resonates with you, whether contributing to a specific agency or to the United Way Impact Fund.
Let’s come together to make this campaign a success, amplifying our impact and strengthening our community in meaningful ways. Thank you for your support and commitment to making a difference.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the beneficiary partners of the Combined Campaign?
The partner agencies include United Way of Lincoln Lancaster County, CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive), and Give Nebraska.
What is the United Way Impact Fund and why should I donate to it?
The United Way Impact Fund is a pool of undesignated (the giver has not specified a particular agency as the recipient) funds that allows United Way to distribute dollars to address the community's most pressing needs in the areas of Health, Education and Financial Stability. By giving to the Impact Fund, you are ensuring that your gift will be used where it can make the biggest impact.
How do I know what charity to make a donation to?
As you are making your pledge, we would ask that you donate to the United Way Impact Fund first. A typical family or individual in need of services will be helped by 3-4 agencies and these dollars are critical to all of the agencies that are involved. If you have additional dollars to donate, you are welcome to designate them to an organization with which you have a special connection.
Won't I have more impact by designating my pledge to a charity that I know does good work?
All United Way's partner agencies do incredible work. And although they are each making a difference in our community, the issues are much too great for an one agency to solve on their own. That's the power of the United Way and the United Way Impact Fund. By bringing the community together around solutions we can better equip our partner agencies to meeting the need in our community.
Can my donation go to my community if I live outside Lincoln/Lancaster County?
Yes, employees who do not live in Lincoln/Lancaster County and want their donation to go to the United Way or Specific agencies in their home location can note that on the epledge form (or paper form) in the "Write in Area."
