The University of Nebraska Board of Regents today unanimously approved the appointment of Rodney D. Bennett, Ed.D., as the 21st chancellor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Bennett, named last month as the priority candidate for chancellor by NU System President Ted Carter, will assume his new role July 1. He succeeds current Chancellor Ronnie Green, who is retiring.
